Designed process to convert existing sytem to Person Model (i.e., possible multiple EMPL_RCDs for a single person) including assignment of Primary Job Indicators. Implemented PeopleSoft 8.0 Ben Admin Open Enrollment and event maintenance, using eBenefits for election entry, for the Texas state agency responsible for benefits administration of 250,000 employees and 50,000 retirees. Designed customizations to fit client requirements including a) stored procedures to dynamically calculate benefit deductions using the same methodology and yielding the same results as PeopleSoft payroll process; b) SQR and Ben Admin setup to administer COBRA within Ben Admin and c) SQRs to automate generation of job table actions for time-related events (e.g., LOA expiration; overage dependents). Designed and tested legacy system conversion and snapshot procedures.
